Weekend in Review 4 | March 2015

Last weekend of March!  Where the heck does the time go and why must it go so fast?

I took care of the Friday recap already, which you can find here.

Saturday started off with a killer Insanity workout at 24 Hour Fitness.   I had a couple newbies and they said they LOVED class, so here’s hoping they come back next time!   Afterwards I came home to madness in the backyard!

Clint, Kyle, Gary, J and Ryan worked hard getting our new sidewalk and part of our patio down.   We fell a little short on the concrete so will have to finish the rest of the patio later, but so far it looks great!   This area of the backyard never received sunlight so it was a constant mud hole.   It will be nice to bypass that mess!

I fed lunch to the boys, complete with fresh out of the oven chocolate chip cookies…

And then Jessica and I ran a few errands and followed it up with some driveway beers to soak up the warm sun.

Then it was time for Ashley’s Bachelorette party.  Ashley is one of my biker b!tches and is CUTE as a button.

We did the bar scene downtown Old Market until about 11:30 and decided it was time to bounce.   Let’s just say the scene is NOT for me anymore.  I will take a small dive bar off the beaten path any day over that scene.

The pickup lines were quite priceless though.   Cue the guy who walked by Tyree’s friend Ashley (not the bachelorette) and without saying a word pointed to his eye, his heart and then pointed right at her.

Really, bud?

Find a new one because that didn’t get you sh!t with us.

Sunday

Sunday started off super lazy for me.   Little sleep thanks to the mix of vodka, late night, dogs who have to pee and an internal alarm clock that fails me on the weekends.   But, my day lightened up at noon as I was able to help celebrate Briton’s 5th Birthday!

Briton is going to be tearing up his neighborhood in no time!

The rest of Sunday has consisted of a little cleaning, yard work for Clint, meal prep (Sweet potato cubes baked with coconut oil and cinnamon made my house smell so darn delicous) and now iHeart Radio Music Awards.    ❤

Cheers to a fabulous week!
