Mid-December I had the pleasure of meeting up with fellow Omaha 24 Hour Group Exercise instructors to go through a 30 minute GRIT series workout with our Group X Manager, Lori.
It was sort of our holiday gathering : Group X style.
This workout is crazy intense. The GRIT series consists of there different types of classes. We did the GRIT: Strength class. 30 minutes of straight awesome.
Check this quick 45 second video out to learn more about it: GRIT: STRENGTH
Push-ups with a clap? Those happened. I friggin’ LOVED them. Of all the thousands of workouts that can be done, hands down my favorites are push-ups and burpees.
I am a freak. I get it.
GRIT Strength details: 30-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout, designed to improve strength and build lean muscle. This workout uses barbell, weight plate and body weight exercises to blast all major muscle groups.
This workout won’t be coming to Omaha for a few more months but I have no doubt it will be a HUGE success once it lands in the Clubs! I am definitely putting my name in the ring to be considered for training. I would love to add this to my teaching repertoire!
Stay Tuned!
Wow, good for you. I just have to be honest with myself and say I will probably never do a push-up clap thingy. But you ladies look fit and that great!

Burpees remind me of boot camp. I have a love-hate relationship with them. This sounds like an awesome class though! I’d give it a go!
